The Prairie Textile Arts Guild met at 9:30 am on March 12, 2005 in the
meeting room at Marillac Manor.
The meeting was called to order by President Lynn McCulley.
20 members and 2 guests were present.
The minutes of the February 12, 2005 meeting were approved as

Treasurer (Jan Dralle) Jan Dralle reported that the balance of checking
account is $1841.31.

Program (Deb Long and Alice Coats): Deb Long reported that our program
for April will be the Color Crayon Technique given by Alice Coats. The
May program will be our workshop on Canvas work.

Kay asked if the were any additional names of people who were interested
in any of these positions. We have till next week to add names. We will
vote on the slate of officers at that time.

Workshop: President Lynn McCulley reminded us that our last payment of
$30.00 is due today. Carol Kapsner told us she brought a couple of
samples of the workshop project for us to see. The workshop starts at
9:00 am. Carol would like us all there between 8 & 8:30 am, so we are
ready to stitch at 9:00.
Hostesses for next month are Kay Miller & Sandy Hyland. Gift presenter
is Elaine DeBilzan.

New Business:


The National Quilting Day will be held March 19th at the Heritage Center.
There is a used book sale at the Gateway Mall this weekend.
Missouri Valley Quilters have a very nice display at the library.
Baga has a display of old photos of Bismarck.

The program on beading was presented Amy Rouleau.
The speaker's gift was made by Sigrid Bucklin.
Lynn McCulley and Sigrid Buckin provided the treats.
Bring and Brag was held.
The meeting was adjourned
