Miscellaneous Links Meeting Info

Our next meeting is April 9.  The program will be by Alice Coats on Color Crayon technique.  You will need to bring the following supplies:

18” square of light fabric,
A neutral, batik, marble etc. would be a good choice
Large box of Crayola crayons
Pigma pen or a mechanical pencil
Several sheets of paper towel
Embroidery thread and a piece of fabric for practice on stitches
Something to pad your work,
A piece of batting or additional fabric will work
A pattern to trace
There will be some designs available for your use
There are many sources for patterns; several books on vintage linens and
patterns are currently available, coloring books, transfer patterns such asAunt Martha

bulletPTAG also sponsors special seminars and workshops.  Past workshops have featured nationally known needlework teachers.  All-day workshops have been offered in hardanger, silk and metal embroideries, and crewel embroidery.  These workshops are optional and are open to varying skill levels.
