Home Up

Prairie Textile Arts Guild (PTAG) is a group of needleworkers of all skill levels - beginners through advanced.   It was formed in October 1979 with a twofold purpose - to provide needleworkers with programs and workshops in the needle arts and to raise community awareness of textile arts as an art form.

PTAG has met in the Marillac Manor basement since September 1991.

Most PTAG members have "favorite" forms of needle art.  The varied talent of the members provides exposure to skills, creative ideas, and mentoring by other needleworkers.  PTAG provides an opportunity to enjoy your "favorites" as well as explore other needle arts.  In fact, many members bring stitching projects to work on during the monthly meetings.
